Valentine's day

Hi, today is valentines day. A day all about:
Basically just an excuse to eat lots of candy/chocolate and to tell people you like them. A pretty lame excuse of a holiday. Too cinnamony for my taste. Good points: Seeing peoples reactions!!

Anyways what's your opinion on this holiday? (Please comment)

Teenybopper

Apparently Justin Beiber is a teenybopper.

A teenybopper is basically a singer who is adored by tweenage girls. They are forgotten very quickly and usually only remembered by: a) Cleaning your garage 5 years later and finding their merchandise which is "so yesterday"
or b) Explaining the term "Teenybopper" to your kid(s) which leads them to post about Teenyboopers on their blog.

Video of older Teenyboppers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrHSQ32lZ7s

I can definitely imagine Justin Beiber in that outfit!

Fun fact: those sickly pink, old fashioned skirts with poodles on them are called Teenybopper skirts.

Identity Crisis

I was bored so I looked up the definition of an identity crisis online, here's the results:

An identity crisis is a time in life when an individual begins to seriously quest for answers about the nature of their being and the search for an identity. 20th century developmental psychologist Erik Erikson developed this term, which is used frequently. He used it mostly to apply to the period of transition in the teenage years when kids begin to define what they will do as adults, and what their values are. It is now thought that an identity crisis may occur at any time of life, especially in periods of great transition.

Orange

I know I said I'd post orange stuff on this blog and have yet to fulfill that promise. Here's what I came up with:

Quotes

Ah quotes, one of my favourite things. Well I'd like the share some really awesome ones with you.

'It's snowing still' Said Eeyore gloomily
'So it is'
'And freezing'
'Is it?'
'Yes', said Eeyore. 'However,' he said, brightening up a little, ' we haven't had an earthquake lately.'
-The House at Pooh Corner

Speak softly and carry a big stick; you'll go far.
-African proverb

When life gives you lemons, squirt the juice in the eyes of your enemies
-Happy Bunny

It is our choices that show who we truly are, far more than our abilities.
-Albus Dumbledore
